Katha 001: The Last Local
The last train home has one passenger who never gets off.
Every night the last slow local leaves Churchgate with the tired, the late and the half-asleep. And one more. He hangs from the handle upside down, beard sweeping the floor, asking the same riddle to whoever is still awake. Nobody has answered it yet. Most people just pretend to sleep until Borivali.
